Vaccinations

Bordetella

Description: Bordetella is a bacterial infection that causes respiratory illness, commonly known as kennel cough. It spreads easily in places where dogs interact closely, such as boarding facilities.
Vaccination Frequency: Every 6-12 months

Kennel Cough

Description: Kennel cough is a contagious respiratory disease caused by a combination of viruses and bacteria, including Bordetella. It leads to a persistent cough and can affect a dog’s breathing
VaccinationFrequency: Every 6-12 months.

Parvovirus (Parvo)

Description: Parvo is a highly contagious and potentially fatal virus that primarily affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. It attacks the gastrointestinal system, causing severe vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration.
Vaccination Frequency: Puppies receive a series of shots during their first year. Adults need boosters every 3 years.

Rabies

Description: Rabies is a deadly viral disease that affects the nervous system and can spread to humans through bites or saliva. It is required by law in most regions.
Vaccination Frequency: Once every 1-3 years, depending on local regulations and the vaccine used.
